Join Barn in the Forest of Dean for a 3 day improvers workshop.

This class is great for both beginners and those with more experience looking to improve their finish, design and productivity.

There are only 6 spots on this course so there's plenty of scope for tailored learning. There’ll be opportunity to practice the basics, perfect sharpening techniques, learn more advanced carving skills - including a structured approach to making spoons with crank and plenty of time to try out several different spoon designs. 

This workshop will be held in a field under a stretch tent at Noxon Farm - a cute little farm with its own lake close to Barn’s home in the Forest of Dean. In the field we'll have sinks, running water and compost toilets.

Camping is included in the price and you can pitch your tent in the same field where we'll have the stretch tent. We’ll provide a communal lunch each day. Barn will bring his incredible spoon collection, a fantastic opportunity to not only learn and make but also use some of the best spoons in existence.

• Tuesday - 10am - 4pm

• Wednesday - 10am - 4pm

• Thursday - 10am - 2pm

For folks travelling from further afield, you can camp onsite the night before (Monday 1st). You are free to arrive and set up your tent from 5pm. Final departures by 4pm on Thursday.
